Zenergy is partnered with a client in facilities management, we are seeking a dynamic SHEQ Manager
to join the team in Auckland. You will manage a team of advisors and lead SHEQ initiatives across critical infrastructure and facilities management contracts. Utilising systems and processes to foster an integrated approach to SHEQ management in delivering on legal, contractual, and business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and manage SHEQ Management Plans.
- Ensure compliance with legislation, regulations, and standards.
- Lead investigations into safety-related incidents and recommend improvements.
- Develop and deliver SHEQ training, inductions, and campaigns.
- Monitor risk assessments, compliance, and subcontractor performance.
- Promote a culture of safety, health, and environmental excellence.
- Monitor contract's statistical data and report to senior leadership weekly, monthly or at request
- Deliver the requirements within the Business improvement plan in line with the SHEQ strategy
- Support the review process of procedures with designated sites and work groups.
- Facilitation of Risk assessments and support in the development of Safe Work Instructions
- Prepare, communicate, and educate employees and contractors of SHEQ requirements and fundamentals
- Tertiary qualification in Workplace/Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental, or Quality.
- Proven experience in SHEQ roles within industrial, utility, or infrastructure environments.
- Strong knowledge of SHEQ legislation, ISO standards, and risk management.
- Skilled in incident investigations (ICAM preferred) and process improvement.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience within the resources sector is advantageous.
